FEED-SEG Survey results available !! Specific national problems and conditions within the EU-27 and associated countries have beenidentified in the field healthy feed for the safety of livestock and humans and possible obstacles to a common research approach. Furthermore, it was the objective to identify the expertise available and to increase the visibility of high level research institutions. Final Report and Recommendations The final FEED-SEG Symposium was held in Parma, Italy where EFSA is located. More than 100 experts coming from science, research, regulatory affairs, companies and EU Projects took the advantage of intensive discussion on the following topics: Regulatory framework in the field - Policy recommendations established by the FEED-SEG working groups
- Identification of new research topics for the future and results of the FEED-SEG working groups
- Dissemination of results of selected EU-funded research projects in feed quality and safety
- Initiating and discussion of new research cooperation and projects
Based on the generated know-how and the work of the export groups recommendations for policy issues and research topics have been developed.
