FEED-SEG Workshops:

 

During the kick-off meeting the consortium decided to set up three working groups. These working groups are based on the following topics:

 

  1. Feed: labelling & traceability
  2. Feed additives
  3. Food Quality & Food related public health

 

These working groups will work on the following issues and will meeting during four planned workshops:

 

  1. Defining relevant topics to be worked on
  2. Define the state-of-the-art within these topics
  3. Develop the most relevant research topics based on the state-of-the-art work
  4. Discuss the current situtation in policy (e.g. directives, regulations, etc.)
  5. Develop policy recommendations

 

Workshop I (parallel to kick-off) in Vienna, Austria (April 2008)

 

During the workshop the working groups have been formed and working group leaders have been defined.

 

 

Workshop II in Graz, Austria (6th of September 2007)

During the workshop in Graz each working group discussed and defined their main topics to be discussed and worked on within the FEED-SEG project.

 

Workshop III in Pulawy, Poland (11th of June 2008)

The working groups discussed future research projects and policy recommendations to be given. External Experts have been invited to present their views.

 

Workshop IV in Istanbul, Turkey (6-7th of Sept. 2008)

The working groups got into deep discussions of future research topics and research consortia to be formed for proposals to be submitted within the current KBBE call.
